Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka has committed to a fresh long-term contract.

The winger’s new agreement spans four years, extending until the summer of 2027.

Previously, Saka’s contract was set to expire at the end of the upcoming season, making this new deal a significant boost for both Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta.

  1. Am I the only gooner a bit surprised that it’s only a 4 year deal!?!
    A bit ominous maybe ?

Probably one of these 4+2 contracts but still ,,,,

  2. Wanna call out the “too much for young player” nonsense. Yes a lot but in the current PL market that’s his min value. Sterling and crucially Sancho are on more per week than Saka, Foden not far off that, Haaland same age and on 400+k per week. Saka has since he was 18 proven he is one of, if not most, important player in carrying the team and he’s on a massive trajectory so I do not buy that this will affect him on field. Also as a person, I 1000% all day want the quality of person that saka is paid handsomely as his values, what he means of the club and his actions sets an amazing example to young people looking up to him. Very questionable of some people who question saka particularly why it’s too much money for him….

  3. If I am Martinelli or Odegaard or Saliba ….. there’s something brewing with Ramsey like situation…… if I am rival club that’s exactly what I will want

  4. "Retaining our best yong talent is key to our continued progress"……..ok, what about Smith Rowe then🤔, he scored 10 and assisted 2 last season…..

  5. Signed for only 4 years so in 2 or 3 years Arsenal will have to sell when Saka declines to renew. At the time when City will be looking for Mahrez replacement. Arsenal are City's best feeders!

  6. Saka signing a new contract is really a no brainer. Arsenal is his lifelong club and they’re now title contenders and back in the champions league so why not stay. And when this new contract runs out, he’ll still only be 25 or 26 right in the middle of his prime so he could still join a giant club like Real Madrid or something if he wanted to.
