    Full replay from the badminton men’s doubles bronze medal match where Korea’s Chung Jae Sung and Lee Yong Dae defeated Malaysia’s Kien Keat Koo and Boon Heong Tan at the Wembley Arena at the London 2012 Olympic Games (5 August).

    Badminton made its debut as a demonstration sport at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. It was not until the 1992 Games in Barcelona that it was officially included on the Olympic programme, with men’s and women’s singles and doubles events. The mixed doubles event made its debut in 1996 at the Atlanta Olympic Games. Since then, the number of events has remained unchanged.

      Every time I watch this match, it just reminds me of how they lost to Boe/Mog… it's sooo depressing and sad because the dream team match for MD should've been Cai/Fu vs Jung/Lee </3 they are each other's strongest rivals with the closest head to head fights and all epic shots (so fast and furious), now everything is different and Cai/Fu split up and Jung retired… 🙁 there will never be any MD groups which can replace them, they are the most amazing of MD badminton players in all history… but I do hope that Korea gets a gold medal in MD at Rio in 2016 (hopefully Lee/Yoo or Kim/Kim because they've never won the "bigger" titles like World Championships, Asian Games, etc.* beside Lee's Olympic gold in XD a few years back)

      i do understand tradition , no offense to the lady , she's doing that for a long time . BUt i would like to see some change and have some HYPE Commentary instead of this quiet cast. Badminton need change !

      Kkk should go fly kite. Win one spectacular point, lost the next three points with his fooling around shots. Very unfair to tan. Can tell that tan Is very affect by kkk casual play. Defense w shot btw the legs.

      Malaysian could have won the metal without kkk's extra personality. Trying to show off his net skill and trick shot during the key point is immature. A pro double player should always racquet up at the front court all the time, look what kkk is doing for the whole time?! All he wanted was to look cool…

      Watch this in 2021. Tan Boon Heong mentioned in one of his commentary for Tokyo 2020 that bronze medal game pressure is real that 37:03 happened 😂. Hes too pressure that he thought it was a rubber set and they need to change court. Thats why he pack all his thing.

      Its funny cuz now 2021. But in 2012, it was really tensed and no one laugh at it. Dont mad at me. Tan Boon Heong himself laughed when he reminded of this.

      Hats off to all athletes. Its really an achievement no matter what it is
