  1. Writing this after the Bahrain GP:

I believe that with the performance Sargeant put on in Bahrain, he is well on his way to cementing his spot on the grid. Outperformed all of his fellow rookies in a car everyone thought would be the worst on the grid! Williams has a good eye for picking him up, and he’s got a bright future in F1

  2. His Grandfather was a Navy Commander I believe so that was a good description of his name. This kid has been on it since his first minimax race. This was before he had all the best equipment. I took my sons kart, Logan’s and his brothers karts and equipment to the race. We had 2 mechanics helping us. Technically it was for fun, but Logan won and pretty much won everything after that. If he didn’t break he almost always won. When he ran the winter tour, he won that also. For those of you that don’t know, the Florida Winter Tour is loaded with talent. I think it starts at 8 year olds and goes up from there. We had people from as far away as Australia running. A lot of big money South Americans and Canadians. USA doesn’t lack for talent in Karting, but to have a shot at an F1 seat without a real American team is a pipe dream. American drivers get crapped on in Europe so his only real hope was to move there so everyone would get used to him kicking their asses. Which he did. Just for a short list of kids he drove against, F1-Latifi, Strohl, Fitipaldi’s Indy-Gabby Chavez, O-Ward, Kyle Kirkwood, DeFrancesco, Ferruci, and a few others, IMSA-Nunez, DeQuesada, Lazare and others. He also got some coaching from Oz Negri, Castroneves and a few other former F1 and Indy drivers. Racing was a lot of fun in S Florida, and with people like Strohl, DeFrancesco, O-Ward, Latifi and many others, there was plenty of money with top notch equipment and coaching here. Of all the kids here, we figured Pietro and Enzo would get a shot using their Grandfather Emerson’s name, and there were other kids that were great drivers, but Logan had the whole package. Level head, quick learner, easy to coach along with enough money to get close, and of course, unshakable speed. As hard as it is to get into F1, this isn’t a surprise to me at all.

  3. Imagine all the Piastri dick sucking by the OFFICIAL F1 accs and then Sargeant just whipes with him while driving (on paper) worse of the two cars.

  4. There’s a ton of untapped talent in the US. I think once the F1 rage comes here to the US you’re going to see a lot more kids trying to make their way to F1. It’ll be better for the sport imo.

  5. It's so nice seeing an American in F1 again. I'm hoping more Americans can get into the sport. I have no friends I can nerd out to about F1. I'm not in to baseball, basketball, football, or Nascar.

  6. This was recommended to me today, the day after he came in last place in his hometown. OOOF, couldn't have happened to a better person.
