Another reason to stay is almost being guaranteed a start in every game. If he leaves for a top side he may spend the season warming the bench and getting the odd start. Think about it Illy, youre better off with the fans who love you.

I think it's very simple, If he won't sign an extension, get him gone. Can't afford to lose him for free. His team will be advising him to go where the money is. Loyalty won't be featuring into their minds.
My hunch is he signs an extension with a relegation release clause at a reasonable figure.
I think he will give it 1season with blades just to prove he can do it on a regular basis

Another reason to stay, is if heโs genuinely keen to leave to develop, heโll get a far bigger contract and in my opinion better club if they can sign him on a free, give us a season in the prem lad and then go knowing you gave us everythingโฆ or be a total babe and sign a new deal
