— It was the first time we got to see Sam Howell working in Eric Bieniemy’s offense, and he looked the part taking the first team reps in 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills. Elite arm strength individual drills flick of the wrist.
— Howell looked in command of the offense in the huddle and during plays acccurate accuracy Sam Howell only had four incompletions combined in both 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills: one was out of bounds targeting Brian Robinson, but the rest were drops. is offense that good or defense that bad!
— Jartavius Quan Martin & Emmanuel Forbes had great coverage made plays in secondary
— Phidarian Mathis is back healthy & unbothered unhampered by 2022 injury!
— Jacoby Brissett looked like best back up QB in nfl with touchdown passes!
— Tariq Castro-fields get s first OTAs interception against Brissett!
— Another receiver who got a decent number of targets today was former UCLA wide receiver Kazmeir Allen received a lot of targets & passes & looked explosive & elusive! Sleeper to make final 2023 53-man roster as starting punt returner!

I think they'll find ways to put Kendal Fuller into redzone and short yardage plays where his lack of speed isn't as much of a liability. Then you can leverage the skills and smarts without the downsides.

I'm excited about this season man, you know before we got Wentz I was die-hard we gotta reunite Dyami & Sam.
Me MR Tradeback was even at 1 point like " welllll maybe a short trade-up " before his stock dropped.
Then I was even like " oh shit he'll be there at 11 or maybe we could even make a short trade back & still get him"
Then I got my heart broken with the Wentz trade before I accepted Carson & got behind him
Then we got what I think will go down as one of the biggest draft steals in the last 20 years.
There is NO REASON Sam Howell should have made it to the 5th, it is nothing short of FATE that he did
Sam Howell in Washington was meant to be,.
Fate doesn't do mediocrity, Sam is here for greatness.
I know this all sounds over the top & hyperbolic, but I really believe Sam is capable of being the type of long-term, homegrown, Top-tier franchise QB we've only EVER had with Mark Rypien, who Sam was actually taken just 2 picks earlier than, & ALL-TIME GREAT Sammy Baugh.
I'm not saying Howell is gonna be a HOFer like his name-sake in Sammy or that he's even gonna for sure win us a SB like Mark, but I think he's gonna make us a contender, for years to come. Probably not at that Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, Burrow tier, but I def think he'll be every bit of that Russel Wilson, Jalen Hurts, Dak, tier, and he has the mental makeup & intangibles combined with his arm talent and mobility to let him hang with some of those built in a lab QBs like Herbert, Lawerence, fields & Lamar
I think Vanilla Gorilla is going to be better than Mathis
We'll see about Howell. His problem was never accuracy or arm talent but decision making and sometimes playing hero ball
