No one is talking about Tom Rogic. A player of his ability even if you could have him for 15 minutes a game that is good enough for me

Arnie is clearly showing his faith in Riley McGree instead at Rogic's expense.
It's a load of BS that Langerak missed out on selection! He's our number 1 GK right now ahead of Mat Ryan so the fact he was overlooked is a disgrace. Luring him out of retirement, not playing him in the NZ friendlies and then to be discarded by Arnie is wrong on so many levels. He was the best keeper for the past 3 years. Mat Ryan barely plays for his club FC Copenhagen and he is currently injured and still gets to go to the World Cup. The exception to my point of view is Awer Mabil since he has kept himself in exceptional shape.
Also Joel King as our back-up LB is baffling 😳
It's a joke that Callum Elder who plays week in and week out at Hull City wasn't even considered either. Elder is our best LB by far ahead of Aziz Behich so I can't understand why he was constantly snubbed by Graham Arnold 🤷♂️
Langerak’s omission is baffling. Big risk not bringing him especially as Maty Ryan is carrying an injury. Vukovic and Redmayne are both 3rd choice keepers!

How is Tom rogic not there?? Absolutely gives us the most going forward, I know he hasn’t played much lately but for him not to be in the squad and an option when it comes to selection is a huge mistake.
Where will the goals and creativity come from???
Mental decision – not taking a keeper who is playing the most first team football most regularly in the best form….makes no sense whatsoever.
Omitting Langerak and Rogic from the squad has taken the gloss out of watching Australia play in the World Cup.

It sends the message that the coach doesn't think they can progress to the second round. I have watched most of the squad in recent games. Ryan wasn't playing well when dropped by his club. As for Arnold saying that it wasn't my decision, that is a no-no. You are in charge, you are responsible and accountable. That's a massive fail. Passing the buck. But I think Arnie made mistakes in team selection in the Olympics and WC qualies. So that's par for the course imo. This "the coach has to be Australian" is a load of BS. The coach has to be the best we can get. And the same criteria applies to every player.
Mitch should have been the No.1 choice. He is the inform, playing goalkeeper.

100% agree with Schwarz.
The only reason I’m not baffled is that the keepers Arnie & Crawley have picked is that he knows these keepers (yeh saying Jobs for the boys almost seems too obvious). We can only back these guys is that Arnie has seen these players and has selected them on the way he has played out the game in his head.
Time for you guys to coach the socceroos
bad decision by Tom rogic leaving Celtic in a world cup year , and then little football ,not even West Brom will play him .all this jobs for the boys is a load of rubbish ,Socceroos will do Australia proud

During the qualifiers was already clear but likely due to short time to find a replacement was kept on….but now with this selection after the big ones (Rogic, Langerak, Sainsbury, Arzani, Volpato, Taggart) there are others too like Genreau (Toulouse), Gianni Stensness, Jason Davidson (regular left back in his Belgian first div Eupen) with experience, Callum Elder another regular left back for Hull City – (although just coming back from injury – but than again Ryan, Hrustic and Soutar is in same boat – probably our best 2 left back options, I did also like Brad Smith although not sure how he has been performing and than some players whom played in European competitions until last week in James Holland and Nikita Rukavitsya – these 2 could have helped off the bench or even off it with some experience under their belts…But Langerak and Rogic are insane…

Whatever. Ryan's always been the better keeper and the grey wiggle for pens. Langerak has always choked for the national team. He's had some absolute shockers.
Langerak has literally had man of the match performances against Bayern Munich and played seasons in dortmund idk how he can’t be top 2 whilst being in form 😅
I don't understand how Matt Leckie keeps on getting selected.
Langerak is number 1 or 2 , you can argue the toss, but no doubt that he's not the third best keeper…not to take him and effectively rate him number 4 shows how poor Arnold's management is. Rogic too…sure he's not in top shape, has made poor decisions, but not good enough to make a squad of 26???…probably our only real world class player (still only 29!)… Arnold's picked 7 players under an injury cloud or not in form, but no Rogic.
