He was so underrated at world cup specially in the group stage.He used to dribble like this.But Gakpo stole the show
Same reason Busquets was always so good on the turn. In the moment you don’t expect him to drop a shoulder but he can take off in little space.
I’m an old guy now but I’ve used that move since I was around 8 years old. I remember another kid used it on me and I started to copy it. It is really effective because it makes you move to the opposite direction naturally and it is hard to see it coming. De Jong took it to the highest level of the the game with his speed and awareness.
I dunno, Iniesta did this much smoother. And Cruyff was the best exponent of this move.
