Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. was sent off as his side lost 1-0 to Valencia this weekend. But the flashpoint between the players followed a match that was marred by allegations of racism from the terraces, and the referee even halting play to warn fans that these incidents would not be tolerated.

  1. there something wrong with the spanish society. i came to norway as a refugee from vietnam when i was a boy and have lived in norway ever since. i'm a norwegian citizen and have traveled all over europe and other parts of the world for work and vancation. but i've only been to spain once, to madrid in the 90's, and that's the only time i i've had to endure racism. from a bartender in the madrid opera house. i thought spain was getting better after all these years, bu no. i'm one of the worlds biggest real madrid fan and i'm worried that players will leave the team now. la liga is not a place to stay for black players under these circumstances and tebas doesnæt seem to take this seriously. the premier league cleaned things up a couple of decades ago and there's much less racial slurs and abuse over there.

  2. People out here claiming that Vini Jr is racially abused because of his arrogance and attitude. Come on Zlatan is praised for his arrogance infact he is famous for that but no one ever utters any inappropriate words to him. But when it now comes to Vini he is guilty. I also wonder how the VAR skipped the part where he was head locked from behind to just focus on where an arm him the opponent. Anyway its football, infact i have never seen a black ball being played

  3. If you say some one " fk you" and show middle finger (which is part of the game from fan side on oponent team member) its ok but if that person is black its racism? Really?

  4. His entire reaction is warranted but he wasn't right in what he said to the La Liga president. Vini scheduled 2 meetings with the La Liga higher ups, didn't show up and accused the La Liga president of attacking him when he called Vini out on his missed meetings. He has to address this issue with a more mature mindset. He isn't the first one to suffer these atrocious attacks, he will probably and unfortunately not be the last. I'm not saying he shouldn't act, he has to act, but I feel like venting on social media instead of showing up to oficial meetings isn't the way to put this issue to bed once and for all

  5. I hope vinicius junior moves to the premier league. He will play pacefully there. Don't get me wrong. I am a madrid fan. But when football professionals leave and avoid the LaLiga due to this racism, the spanish clubs and more important the Spanish Football Federation will sense the situation and its possible consequences, this will makes them release that they need to put an end to this shit

  6. Remember a banana was thrown at Dani Alves when he was playing for Barcelona. He picked it up, ate it and went on to score in that match. White people at their finest due to Ignorance from the truth knowing recessive genes can’t win a 100m in the hot sun ☀️, always running and playing mostly at night.

  7. Man reconsider , u cant sweet talk Racism! Its because youre white AND you havent faced this kind of feeling. Vinis behaviour is normal to all ballers, look at christiano, look at sergio Ramos, don't speak like you've not supported football , and he has nothing to apologise for being born black.

  8. Vinicius was not wrong (or kicked out) for disrespecting the racist fans, it was for disrespecting his peers from Valencia who were not doing anything racist

  9. Adam: What a joke you are calling it "alleged" racism! You can see and hear it! What more proof do you need. You better inform yourself BEFORE putting up a video. Instead of showing solidarity and support for VIni, Jr. you're making it an "alleged" incident. You should be ashamed of yourself!

  10. It's all lip services. They (LaLiga) really aren't too invested to kick everyone out the stadium that yell racist stuff.

  11. This is very funny because in Europe white people think Spanish people are the monkeys, because they are so hairy. 😀😁🤣😂

  12. So he alledged racism against him, but looking at this video I could not see it. It might be there, maybe I am blind, maybe in another video/angle, but I don't see it. If it's just abuse (not racial), it's what every player in the world has to deal with when playing away from home. If it's racial, shame on them.

  13. He's right about it being a national problem and not just a football problem. I remember in 2008 at a preseason test in Barcelona, Spanish F1 fans dressed up in blackface and white t-shirts exclaiming they were Hamilton's family. Apparently they turned up already in these racist costumes and were waved in by security. It's depressing

  14. I don’t like this part of soccer in Europe. Why Europeans so arrogant? I can’t and never understand. Lack of education is so scary. 😅
