Imo Kane has been player of the season. In one of the worst Tottenham team Iโve seen in years that lacks creativity he has created and scored a lot of his 28 premier league goals. Without him Tottenham would be down with Everton struggling to stay up. Haaland is in the best team that creates so many chances it doesnโt matter if he misses a few. Kane is an all round better player.

As a city fan, id say ake and akanji have had a better seaosn than dias. Dias was a little shakey early on where as ake has been phenomenal all season.

Jamie in past seasons has slaughtered Gary for picking players based on their performances over formation. And in this season going Haaland and Kane doesnโt ever make sense from Carra even though Kane had an incredible season.

I've been looking at the TOTS and for me it's really hard to look past Arsenal and especially City. You could genuinely just put a full Man City team and make an argument for it, but Trippier and Kane would have to make it along with probably Alisson and รdegaard.
The rest of the teams have fantastic players but how many make it past those two teams? It's hard to pick any
Allison makes soo many mistakes. Ederson practically none every season. Some serious favouritism here. Edersons best in the league

I personally think Alisson is a victim of his own success. Without him, Liverpool wouldn't even be in Europa league for next season. Absaloutely deserved place in the TOTS
Trippier is overrated, also Salah over Saka is outrageous.
If you're taking into account the WHOLE season, Saka should be ahead of Salah.
With all due respect to Salah's numbers, he's been poor for over half the season. He's still a better player than Saka, but Saka had a better season.
Its a bit redundant for gary to look at the stats for the LB position where Shaw has played CB for a good amount of games, which obviously will mean estupinan will have greater attacking stats.
So caragher has two Liverpool players, no man utd players in whch utd were far better this year, allison in over de gea who won the golden glove ๐
I'm glad they both picked Rodri, the main reason city have dominated this season

Feel like when making team of the season you donโt have to overthink positions, just choose the best players in def,mid,attack
Luke shaw can felt hard done by, been quality for us all year. Kane and Alison is a bit bizarre for me
No Nathan Ake at left back is absolutely outrageous (Iโm an Arsenal fan btw and would still put him there ahead of Zinchenko)
Diaz is such a lazy pick. Saliba, Gabriel, Martinez and botman have all been better

Salah and Kane are easily forgotten this season due to Haaland. But they both performed extremely well, despite their teams' overall performances. Jamie makes a great point.. and the stats don't lie!
Saka does a lot more defensively than Salah. Martinelli tracks back way more than Rashford. Goals and assists are your primary target but when they're close, defensive contribution should settle it
Saka and Martinelli performed at a higher level under more pressure than Salah and Kane.
How can not 1 man United player not be in with 17 clean sheets, top 4 and a cup.
Ivan Toney scored 20 goals at Brentford. .that is more commendable than what Kane did. Plus Kanes team was top 4 for 80% of the season. People acting like he was fighting relegation
