      Inter want Lukaku and Dybala. What if Spurs get Martinez instead of Bastoni? Inter get funds they need to do transfer business. Spurs swap Torres + cash for GLC.

      I think we should go for both. I love sanchez but I would let him go if it meant having Pau torres and Bastoni. As for Dier, he could go to the bench it’s not like he’s so good we shouldn’t get pau and bastoni. I understand we value diers on ball ability but pau Torres is a better defender AND on ball cb. I don’t see why pau Torres can’t play center in a back 3. He already plays in a back 2 something dier struggles in. I think if we include Lo Celso in a deal we can knock off a significant amount on Pau’s price tag, minimum of 20-25M

      Ive always thought Torres makes most sense, hes a better all round player than bastoni imo, we already bid for him, he has won europa and reached a ucl semi in what was an average villareal side plus Romero and Dier both speak spanish, as does bentancur, plus we can do lo celso plus cash.

      Pau Torres for lo celso plus 20 or 25m makes sense. Then Bissouma 25 to 30m or Milinkovich Savic 50m. Eriksen should be a no brainer on a free. Moussa Diaby (left wingback or right forward) or Nkunku or the like up front.

      Quick question Matt.
      Do you think that Eric Dier would serve England better than Maguire?
      I do, I honestly can't believe Tottenham have only one player in the England starting eleven, I remember the days when Tottenham Hotspur was more or less England and England was more or less Tottenham Hotspur, with a minimum of around 6 THFC players.
      I'm nit sure about Bastoni, he may not fit either the squad or the EPL, as we all know, it's not made for everyone and visa versa, then again, as long as he's big and strong enough, with the ability to hold the ball, play through, use his physicality to bully any of the opposition of the ball, so he must have a cool head, especially coming from abroad in Italy, where some players spend more time smelling the grass than kicking the ball, flipping 6ft in the air holding ones ankle when the VAR clearly shows no contact whatsoever, the again, football all across the world is evolving, and as I've been saying for a few years now, “ To change football continuously, over time, will push the "powers that be" ti take football backwards to move it forward, and they've more or less done that Matt, the ridiculous handball rule has changed, they're no longer blowing for every trip or fall, even not giving some obvious fouls sometime recently, especially around the 18yrd box, so it seems my wish has come true, we are back in the 80s but with the added twist of 2022 rules for clarity although there's still some things FIFA, UEFA, the English FA as well as all FA's and the most powerful league in world football the EPL need to sort out by working together and not just dumping crappy new rules and regulations without consulting the clubs and Footy associations
      across the globe………..look up ⬆️..

      Top 3 next season Matt, maybe even higher, what d'you reckon?
      Can't wait, I'm extremely excited about this window and next season under Conté, building upon the success of last season considering we were in tenth place.
      Can't wait to see whom else we attract to the club, we're are now a very decent proposition for any player, finished fourth, gained champions league football, keeping the best manager/coaches and staff in the world, securing Harry Kane and Sonny, every players level has increased by many times since Conté and his staffs arrival.

      If the celso deal gains traction , we will know about Torres very quickly unlike the bastoni deal which can drag on all summer

      getting bastoni and de vrij from will help inter save face. people say de vrij is on the decline but he is the perfect backup for dier. imagine selling rodon and getting de vrij for the same amount of money. this season with the big number of potential incomings, it is vital that we get people like perisic, bastoni and de vrij who understand the conte system inside out. conte can dedicate his time working on other players to fit into his system.

      Inter need money to balance the books they will sell at least 1 of there better players i see this happening especially if conte wants him. plus they just signed bremer

      The timing is unfortunate, as Bastoni appears to not be ready for the move. I really think he's a much better fit for us than Torres but clearly it's an easier deal to make, with Lo Celso going the other way. Again, I'd much rather Gvardiol than Torres.
