I believe Jimmy G’s ability to operate in the red zone will definitely be an obvious Upgrade which the whole team will benefit from. I’m going with 9+ wins this year.
When davante Adams said they weren't on the same page that was from an article that was written three months ago and just released.
The problem won't be Davante and Jimmy G, it's the condescending McDaniels the control freak.
Jimmy G has played more than 6 games in a season 3 times. and 16 games is his most ever. all of this with having better O-lines infront of him and offenses that dink and dunk getting rid of the ball fast.
what is going to happen to him behind a worse O-line and a last ranked defense? He has had a top 5 defense his whole career as a starter.
The Raiders where in a good spot after that playoff year to add to the team and progress, they went out and got the best WR in the league and got worse. the biggest problem is Josh Mcdaniels, he is so overrated its not even funny, take Tom off those NE teams and this guy doesnt even have a job as a OC. Look what he did on the Rams.

People forget Brady's game under Josh McDaniels. Short passes over the middle to Welker, Edelman, Amendola and the Gronk. Those 8-yard completions — plus short runs — kept piling up the number of first downs for the Patriots.
So just keep jimmy for 2 years draft a QB next year, hope he learns the offense and by joshs 4th year he's gone.

I was a Comp Sci and math major so I like numbers. Most people don’t which is fine, but numbers rule the Universe. Anyways both Jimmy and Rodgers have quick releases — just north of 0.3 — and I believe Davante played with Aaron and had success. Aaron has a stronger arm than Jimmy but it’s not as big of a difference as people think. Jimmy had a ball speed of 56 MPH — that and spiral are the only factors outside of wind speed that affects the ball once it leaves the QB’s hand — while I believe Aaron’s is high-50s to maybe 60. But because Jimmy has such a quick release, and his Time-to-Throw (TT) number is around 2.65 — a very good number — Jimmy and Davante actually might sync up better than Davante realizes. Now everyone complains that Jimmy can’t throw outside the numbers. That’s a bit of a myth. During Jimmy’s combine he threw lots of passes outside the numbers but Kyle seems to prefer throwing more between the numbers I think to get more RAC and YAC yardage. You’d have to ask Kyle though. But Kyle does it alot with Purdy too. I saw Jimmy play with the Patriots — he only started a couple of regular-season games behind Brady — and he played very well. But we’ve really only seen Jimmy play a lot with the 49ers. I want to see Jimmy in another offense. I think the Raiders coach was the OC in New England so they have history. My gut tells me though that Jimmy, assuming he stays healthy — sure, a big assumption — should play better than people think. His release is world class and he wins 70-percent of his starts with a good postseason record too.
Davante Adam’s made a huge mistake taking his beef to the media, for so many reasons. I mean, Jimmy is going to be the quarterback 90-percent chance and who’s going to be throwing to Adams? Jimmy. Now if Jimmy were more like Aaron Rodgers — Jimmy is actually a nice guy and Aaron is not, in my opinion — Jimmy would simply avoid throwing to Davante. But my guess is, after Jimmy and Davante play a few games together Adams will change his tune. (Don’t make excuses for Davante. If I were a coach Davante is getting seriously close to where I’d say, “Look Davante, you’re a great receiver. But I don’t care. You’re undermining this football team. If you don’t want to be here we’ll try to trade you but your contract is prohibitive. Or you could just agree to tear it up and we’ll cut you loose. But you will NOT screw up this season for the Raiders. If you do we’ll have to suspend you without pay. Understand? You’d f——-g better.)
Let's be honest, Josh McDaniels has not won anything without TB-12 in his prime. The Raiders are not getting anywhere close to that kind of QB play.
Nope. McDaniels destroyed the team. He will do what he did to Denver. Break everything then get fired. And hopefully mugged on the way out the building.

McDaniels was brought in to tank, based on last year’s terrible play calling when they were up at halftime and did a 180. It was as if the staff said, “oh, these plays in these formations didn’t work? Let’s only run those in the second half.”
According to PFF Las Vegas placed No. 31 in the Offensive Line rankings in Week 2 but made it to No. 10 to close the regular season.
There's a big question mark on this team . They have great weapons but that defense … if jimmy is protected and healthy i see a competitive team . Lets see how it plays out

Davante feels screwed. Plain and simple. He came to the Raiders to WIN NOW. They were a stacked team last year with a coach who didn’t use the talent to the talent’s ability. The coach wanted what the coach wanted and that team wasn’t built for that scheme. Josh and Dave Z have imploded the Raiders. I’m a Raiders fan, and it sickens me. A coach should evaluate what he has, and develop the scheme to use his weapons most effectively. He didn’t do that and punished Carr for calling play audibles. Period the end. Raiders may get 5 wins this year. Maybe.
nice to hear from howie long. im only 25 so i never got to see him play live. however as a raider fan its my job to know our history. and he was a very huge part of that. rn4l! ☠️🏴☠️
No Jimmy sucks best case scenario he gets injured like usual hopefully early n we tank for Caleb, McDaniels get shit canned n we dump Jimmy n his contract next off-season & we have hope & a real future for a change
I respect howie, he’s my favorite player, but you can’t believe that Mcdaniels is doing anything good. Jimmy G is perpetually injured. He will be down by game five or six. Mcdaniels has a horrible system that only did well in New England. He destroyed the Broncos, and was fired as an OC in another place. He’s only been a successful patriot. Frankly, I feel like that’s why they keep hiring patriot players. He thinks he will be successful with that. The truth is that he needs a better coach controlling what happens, and he’s garbage.
