  1. Gallagher is better than Mason mount in every aspect of the game so he should be starting in the team instead of Mason mount if it's to press and tackle he's got it unlike Mason though he is skiller and hence create and score more goals ⚽💯🎯

  2. Yan…we could have won city at the bridge, if we had to stick to our 3-4-3 but we didn't. Tuchel changed the formation to 3-5-2 to play two strikers, which isn't our strong suit…don't get me wrong Lukaku and Werner are good strikers, but they not great together, if we can play our 3-4-3 against City and 3-5-2 against Liverpool we truly win the league 😉

  3. American Chelsea fan here. What do english fans think of Zack Steffen? Could he become a starting keeper on a champions league contender or is he seen as someone who could start on a mid-table premier league team?

  4. I think the title race is a 3 horse race between City, Liverpool, and Chelsea…. I think AFCON will effect Liverpool more than anything, and during that time, City and Chelsea might start to pull away…. it will probably be the reverse fixture between City and Chelsea that will decide the title, but I also think it won't be actually decided til 2 games remaining

  5. Jan, you're absolutely right that the way we 'beat teams easily' is by that 'systemic rotation' you describe so well, the fast-paced pass-and-move, the intense high-pressing etc is what blows teams away. And in fact we did manage to do that against City last season, when we beat them 3 times in a row with just that style of play – even City couldn't handle us on the day, playing that way.

So, we have to recognise the reason we didn't manage that against City once again at the Bridge early this season was the personnel change we'd made (i.e. Lukaku up front). That style of play is just not Lukaku – he's not got the mobility, not got the touch, and hasn't shown the energy levels needed to keep that approach up for long enough. However, we're okay, because Havertz does, as he showed once again at Leicester this weekend. So, what I'm looking for is for TT to feel able to bench Lukaku for games like City – sure play him against other teams, but against the Cities of this world (and there aren't too many of them), TT needs to bench Lukaku, play Havertz (w. Werner) and play that team-approach that out-matches the opposition in movement and intensity.

We beat City before, 3 times on the bounce, they still fear us, we can do it again.

  6. I dont thing City dlapped us up at SB its just that Tuchel went in with the wrong mindset into that game considering we were playing like we were 1-0 up just playing the game out and defending.. Still we are favorites for the title

  7. maybe its not just about being top of the league… maybe its also about the type of football…. we've never been a free flowing team since the big man bought the club… except for maybe one year under Ancelotti
