The game of Basketball has been my passion since I was 5 years old. I grew up as a kid watching my dad’s recorded VHS tapes of playoff games through the 70s and 80s, and collected all the Basketball cards. Something about the game and what it represents just hooked me from a very young age.

Another great video Jonny, I loved 2009 series, watched game 1 and 4 recently, great basketball, much more fun than today honestly.
Well if the people wont say Lebron cant win, Denver can do it. But if he hears another disrespect in his name, he will surely beat this squad. That man always comes through whenever his legacy is in question.

As a neutral, well I’m from Minnesota so naturally I dislike the Lakers a bit 😂. I Hope to see Denver win, but I expect to see LA win. The defense will be key, as long as AD is fairly consistent, Lakers win in 6

The only thing I know is, this is gonna be one hell of a series
I got Nuggets in 7 but the Lakers this year have managed to defeat a fully functional Warriors team with AD coming through fully healthy looking like an even better and more rounded version of his 2020 self with the insane amount of blocks that man has in the postseason so far. However, the Nuggets are playing some of the best team basketball I've ever seen and I feel like Jokic definitely has something to prove after getting ROBBED of mvp this regular season because that man is going absolutely nuts on all sides of the court. This might be the best Nuggets vs Lakers matchup of all time.

The first time they matched up in 1979, the three-game mini-series went to a win-or-go-home Game 3. You failed to mention the two major details:
A) Going into Game 3, many people, including Lakers fans, felt Denver would advance because the deciding game was in Denver and the Lakers had never won a game in Denver since the Nuggets were brought into the league in the fall of 1976 ABA-NBA Merger.
B) In addition to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's series averages (that you so casually mentioned), you failed to point out that with the the Lakers trailing by one with under 20 seconds left, Kareem made the series-winning skyhook. It gave them their first-ever win in Denver, the series win, and a matchup in the next round with the Seattle Supersonics.
When you pass yourself as producing "history lessons," remember that pro basketball began WAY before Bird, Magic, and Jordan.
