  1. Remember back in early April we were worried about Dodgers starting pitching?
Now they throw out Kershaw, Urias, May and Gonsolin – who are all doing great!

  2. IF the Cardinals give up 4+ runs it will be because of Jack. Not Contreras. You JUST got done saying how bad he is against the Brewers šŸ˜‚ Since Kiz took over as the catcher, the starters era has gotten worst. They just don’t have good pitchers. Front Office didn’t want to spend the money on some pitching.

  3. You’d have to watch the fulling top of the inning to understand the frustration of the Phillies. Awful calls by the umps when calling a double play & then refusing to review because they say that they didn’t hear the Phillies dugout call for it in time, blatantly calling balls strikes… Bird only got out of that inning from the help of the umpires! Embarrassing that he would troll the Phillies

  4. Dodgers putting their rookies and call ups on display throughout 2023 to give Ohtani confidence that the team is set for the next 5+ years so sign with us. It also provides trade bait for anyone they want to deal with. In Friedman we trust…. Let's go Dodgers….

  5. C Rose, when you said "if you're a phillies fan…," not only were you dead on, but it was all the more meaningful to Phillies fans after how the Sixers shat the bed in the playoffs and the stars/leaders of the team seemed to play with no heart or effort. So seeing Harper fired up in May baseball was meaningfull after watching Embiid and Harden not seem to care about a playoff game 7.

  6. Not "feeling" either cap today… ***Trev, I will definitely watch ALL your telecasts on Bally's North. I am lucky in SD to be able to watch the Twins' broadcasts. Win Twins!

  7. AJ Preller is a terrible GM masked by his ability to spend the owners money and trade future talent for short term gains. What good players are home grown on this team? Weathers is the only guy I can think of, maybe there are a couple others but its almost non existent. So far only 3 hitters on the Padres have a better OPS than .708, only 3 out of 6 starters have a ERA below 4.60, and the back half of their bullpen sucks. Easy way to get a 19-22 record.

That just the first part of the problem. The Padres have 10 of their top 12 prospects in A+ or lower and the 2 in AA or higher have been doing terrible. This team has nobody to call up. I think Preller might get desperate enough to trade Merrill and Salas and further hamper the Padres future team.

  8. As a Phillies fan, and a super sad Sixers fan, this is exactly what I (we as a city) needed! I can’t even tell you how much I loved this.

  9. So glad rose had to eat his words… last week he asked if the padres were ā€œmore talentedā€ than the dodgers… I think he got his answer 🤣

  10. I thought baseball was supposed to be fun. I didn't know Harper was so old school. Make baseball boring again Bryce. SMH

  11. Josh Naylor and Brent Rooker are just 2 more examples of Padres that struggled, get traded, and flourish. What the fuck is wrong with our organization
