Southgate saving the backlash 😅women shouldn't get the same pay as men footballers until they are equally making the viewership numbers, nobody pays women to promote football it's the men who built the sport, nobody watches womens world cup or knows who won women champions league 😂 in other job areas equal pay can be considered but for football no!
What if men were suddenly playing a women dominated sport and want equal pay despite nobody even caring that men plays that sport, women wouldn't want that, so why is this even a conversation 😅

Taking money from men's sport to pay women because their sport doesn't generate enough revenue for the amount of money they're requesting is not equality. This is not a case of equal work equal pay, it's equal revenue equal pay, that's how sport entertainment works.

Shouldnt pay be down to how much revenue is created by a event ? So if viewing figures for men and womans football is the same the its fair to have equal pay but if not then why should a amateur team deserve the same as a pro team because in reality thats the difference between men and womans football levels and the gap is massive.
Women's football get paid less because there's not much of a audience compared to the men's taking money out of their earnings to make it appear "equal" is just insulting.

Equal pay would be the men and women players getting the same set amount per number of tickets sold for example, lets say the players get £1 each for every ticket sold. The men would make more money because they sell more tickets as its higher quality football with more interest. Just like how a lawyer who works for a family business in a small rural town wouldn't be paid nearly as much as a lawyer who works for a big firm in New York City, even though they 'do the same job'.

Equal money for equal work. Playing football for Men's team is not equal work of playing for women's team. Such a dumb argument. If playing football gives equal money then give same wage to U-18, kids etc. Why not equality with them. Working in office on similar task and physical task of playing sport is different.
