It should have been a red card for the goalkeeper: it was quite a dangerous move against him.
I understand that there is a regulation, but it seems ridiculous to me that he interrupts the play in this way because he does not know how to lose (much less look that his teammates were there to try to avoid the goal).
How about a red for unsportsmanlike behaviour or preventing a clear goal chance? It is very risky and the color of the card is up for interpretation.
It isn't "legally cheating." It's just that the penalty is worth the benefit.
