Gakpo is going to be exciting to watch💯✅
The step up in standards, joining the premier league will be a challenge for him, but he has all the potential to be a success. If needed, I can also see him as a false nine with Diaz, Nunez and Salah ahead of him. Mouth watering
Rivals will call him a flop if he scores 9 goals in 20 games like Nunez when only Kane & Haaland have more goals per game.

Those stats might not convert into much in the PL these days! Yes the kid has done well in the World Cup as well, and has lots of potential to be somebody big one day, but let's not get over excited here shall we.
I'm sure under the guidance of VVD, Klopp, (and probably Lijnders since he's also a Dutch) Cody will blend well into the squad somehow, but let's not jinx the lad before his premier!
He's more like Sadio Mane , wide players who naturally tend to go central , where as Luis Diaz is a more of a winger , who likes to stretch the play , open up spaces in the central area who a midfielder to make a run , similar to someone like Di Maria . It's nice to have these kind of options .
He can be a true replacement for Bobby.
