Well, they’ve spent around £700 million these past 2-3 years across three different managers. One insane spending spree after another each summer. 7-8 year contracts, crazy salaries and overpaying for almost every transfer they make. Chelsea’s laughable leadership and ”businessmen” is the sole reason transfer prices gets twisted. Who tf pays 65m+ on Cucurella and 90m+ on Fofana, not to mention their deals for Mudryk and Enzo. They are clueless. Pochettino won’t make a difference. If they even manage a top four finish next season, I would be surprised.
Ten Hag came to MU with a lot of fanfare but ended up as not much different from his predecessors. This haunts me every time a Hollywood name is brought to save a team that has root problems.
