The hit on top of his head messed with his equilibrium, that's why the short uppercut was thrown with no hand up to defend the counter….plus technical on the referee for not making mendoza go to corner..but what a way to chop down a tree… hit the top of the head and down starts the fall

One of the biggest cracks of the yr..I think little lubin exposed some holes in fundora showing how hittable fundora is ( especially in the kitchen ) he leaves too much to hit on at times plus he needs to be at a higher weight anyway! He's 6'6 – 6-7 smh..he is deontay wilder size in ht – but not even fighting at 160- 168 at least

Fundora thorwing a single extended shot from inside, got countered, thats why you shorten your punches or throw combos from the inside, you limit the chances of a counter.
In a strange way, fundora was using his height advantage on a lot of his fights. Which was a cheat code against smaller boxers. But seeing him land on the canvas the way he did, it truly looked like a small child crying out for their dad. You can really see the in innocence I’m a man’s eyes when he’s been crushed. Mendoza was hurt a few times but the way he over came such a disadvantage is that of legend. He also had to attend to the referee threatening a point. Much respect to both guys on the battle field
