JWP to Arsenal!
Feel sorry for JWP, been their best player all season but gotta face the criticism as captain.
I’d have JWP at Liverpool, maybe not first 11 but squad player definitely.

Sellers has to be sacked now, can’t see Southampton coming back up with him at the helm. He came into a difficult position from the get go but he did himself no favours with some of the team selections. Consistently persisting with washed wingers like El Younousi and Walcott was the main reason for his downfall. Southampton had an abundance of talent in Edozie and Sekou Mara who did not even get a sniff during the mangers reign. He could clearly see that it wasn’t working yet persisted with these guys. At the end of the day Southamptons downfall was all due to getting rid of Hassenhutl after buying no one but unproven youngsters in the summer. Either back him with senior players or give him time with youngsters with potential. I expect the likes of Bella Kotchap, Edozie, Lavia, Mara, Walker Peters etc. to move on.
He,s too good for the Championship, one of the best free kick takers in the Premier league.

Not sacking Hasselhoff when he got beat 9-0 TWICE was the problem.
i wonder his JWP will leave his boyhood club. i kinda want to see him in a top club surrounded by top players, but i also want him to carry on playing for the saints and become a club legend.
Terrible decisions and timing with manager changes earlier in the season didn't help. Shame, as Southampton are a likeable club. Hope they bounce straight back up.

Ward-Prowse strikes me as a bit of a modern day LeTissier, his bread is buttered at Southampton as a stand out player in a very average to poor side.
