    Washington Commanders and a partnership led by Josh Harris have entered into a purchase and sale agreement, it was jointly announced today. Agreement in principle no longer: Magic Johnson has weighed in on the breaking news. He’s league-approval away from being a minority owner of the Washington Commanders. MarkMaske @MarkMaske Josh Harris’s deal still must go through the NFL approval process, first the finance committee and then a vote of the owners. The finance committee raised some issues at its meeting Wednesday. That part of the process remains unaffected by the deal becoming signed and exclusive.

    A potential approval vote by the owners is expected “in the coming months,” source says. The owners will be updated at their May 22-23 meeting in Minneapolis but will not necessarily vote. Josh Harris’s deal still must be approved by the NFL finance committee and then the owners. From the NFL: “League staff and the finance committee will review details of the proposed Washington transaction.       It still has to be approved by the NFL. Basically, the agreement we were told of weeks ago has been signed by both parties and has moved from a non-exclusive to exclusive agreement.
      This thing is still weeks away from being final.

      I think Dan was being honest when he said he'll continue rooting for the team. He's been a fan of the team his whole life. He f-d up as the owner of the team no doubt. But you can't say he didn't spend on the players and coaches. I don't think he'll root for the media or the fans here. I can definitely see him saying f this fanbase. He's probably wishing ridiculous S on washington post. But I can see him rooting for the players. Lets hope Josh brings a revised culture and habit of winning on and off the field. This team has to win for that to happen tho.

      I've been a fan since the late 60s and I have seen all the great years of winning football, it's such a relief to have a new owner and I can't wait to see results and a championship 🏆

      Im not saying JKC wore a halo, but he knew how to build a winning team, with different coaches and different GMs. I started watching Washington when George Allen moved from coaching LA Rams to Washington, as i was in San Diego warching the Rams in 1970, frankly I had no idea Washington has s football team prior to 1970. So i got to be a fan for all the great years after. Hopefully Harris and Co bring back the glory for those who missed it. Nothing like rooting for a team that has a chance to be in the playoffs each year. My brother is a Dallas fan and we had a lot of fun over the JKC years.

      Its a new era. Harris group needs to pick a better name ASAP. Leave all this Dan trash in the past where it belongs. Those jerseys are NOT that good rico…and could be easily improved.

      The only way to get away from Snyder is to make historic changes. Short of serious playoff run this year starting on "Black Monday" after this season If I was Harris I would shitcan EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE. If you collected a pay check from Dan Snyder in the past year you'd be let go. Head Coach all the way down to the towel Boys, grounds crew and entire front offices including executives, secretaries and janitors. They need to clean house top to bottom and start 100% fresh. Not a single person stays employed. Completely sever any adn ALL ties to Snyder and anythign he had to do with the team.

      I'm 50 years old. So I was blessed to see the Joe Gibbs era. I feel sorry for your generation to have to have lived through the snyder era. You guys have NO idea how electric it was back then. RFK bouncing, winning record year after year. Super bowls. It was a AWESOME time. I pray those days come back. And it sounds like it will. I cant wait for you guys to experience what we did. Just a suggestion, itd be nice if ya did a video of those days. Dont exclude how electric RFK was. Thanks for your videos..
