      If Dyche was watching last night and running the the rule over Antonio's first touch (apart from one) and Johnson's playing ability it's fairly safe to say they won't be heading up the motorway.

      Yes yes yes to Conor Gallagher (even on loan), yes to Ziyech ( we currently have no one to cover for Bowen's position), no to Jordan Ayew (under any circumstances) no to losing Kehrer (it would be too risky, even though he isn't great at the moment) and (unless we bring in a really versatile wing back who can properly cross with his right foot) no to letting Ben Johnson go too. However I wont be surprised if absolutely nothing happens tonight so this is all academic really.

      Ziyech is a quality player. Bowen is a good championship player but, at best, an average premier player. Last night in the first half he was through on goal with two WH players un marked to his left plus a back-pedalling defender in front of him so having just scored he thinks I’ll have a shot with my trusty left. Well he hit it low but straight at the gk. Type of thing Antonio would do instead of choosing the better option. Sorry guys you’re all mistaken if you think he is real International class

      I know it was League 1 opposition, but last night probably 1st game this season I’ve come away from feeling relatively happy – despite knowing we had United away next round
      Again, only league 1 but was pleased to see Emerson, Khera, Downes & Areola all have decent games.
      My personal opinion is all these players would be far better if West Ham wasn’t in such a precarious position & low on confidence!
