  1. its not that Bowlie is exentric or what ever, they sign players on long contracts. it gives them longer time to pay down the transfer fees. but Chelsea need to balance their books, so players need to go this summer. that's just a fact.

  2. Klopp's days as a top Manager are seriously numbered if he really wants Mason Mount. Why any top team would want this guy is beyond me his just a passionate merchant with no ability. I can't believe Klopp wants to spend £70m on Mount this guy is toilet. Plus his injury record is atrocious. I would rather just keep playing Jones than buying Mount .

  3. The box midfield is here to stay. It’s the next evolution of tactical formations. Tiki Taka was beat by the High Press/counter press 4-3-3 (heavy metal football) and now the High Press is beaten by the Box Midfield which overloads the mid and gives the extra man to play out from the back. What’s going to beat the Box Midfield? Time will tell. It’ll be someone like Di Zerbi that unlocks it…

  4. I'm sure money will play role, along with contract length, but also whether the next manager really feels he should be there long term to build around

  5. I’d of taken mount tbh ngl when first heard about a potential move but now knowing mcallister prob coming in for the same money, Barella could be available for 60-65m as inter have money problems, ugarte 52 release but sporting maybe willing to negotiate that but again same ish money and gravenberch 25-35m, all are better options better value for money for what we actually need imo

  6. Neil knows as much as the average fan does. Guy is just guessing his way through these links and hoping some of his views are correct and will rely on that to build his rep.

  7. I think there's the same for less elsewhere . Look at the Gakpp deal. He was really a 60 70 million easy and not only that his ceiling is not known really. Mount is good player but not for me.

  8. I dont understand why Liverpool has any interest in him, he has good momments but constantly drifts out of games – mid table team like Vikla or Wolves would be the right level. Nowhere near the levels of Stefan, Trent or Tiago

  9. There's something about mount I don't really like It would not surprise me that his just using Liverpool as leverage to get what he wants from Chelsea.

  10. I don’t think Mount is worth the money, and he doesn’t excite me. Ugarte, Mac Allister, Zielinski, Barella all (probably) cheaper options, and all much better value for money imo.

  11. Barella in my opinion is a much better all round footballer than Mount.
It’s not even close for me.
Fantastic footballer and he’s got that bit of stardust about him.
    He’s a match winner.
Can score outrageous volleys and create assists out of nowhere.
Watched him again last night thought he was absolutely superb.

  12. No interest in Mount. And to be honest, I question Mac Allister as well. We should DEFINITELY get Ugarte. Then make our mega signing Gvardiol. Play a 3-5-2 with VVD, Konate and Gvardiol across the back. Trent and Ugarte in the double pivot (which would almost certainly shore up the defense to where they could handle just about anything). Then we play 4 of our 5 attackers as the rest of the midfielders/forwards.

  13. One I think we can get way more better options that Mason Mount as midfield addition and two we've already got younger English players like Curtis Jones & Harvey Elliott. Who both play similar positions on the pitch. So is Mason Mount worth price & value?

  14. I was always very doubtful Mount was going to leave Chelsea (& London) & now Poch is taking over there's no chance. Ironically if he stays another year & it doesn't work out, he'll be available on a free next year. I'd wait as he's decent but overrated imo.

  15. Mount not worth more than 40 million wages shouldn't match what he demands so overall he's not worth it. There's far better players for far better price than him. He's one of the most overrated players in premier League history

  16. Ugarte / MacAllister / Thuram / Barella. Two of these would be an improvement. With a combo of no CL and FSG being tight-arses, I don't suppose we'll get any of them.

  17. when was the last time this guy influenced a game like we need him to. He is not worth the money, doesn't get into Chelsea's team even when fit
