Toronto FC fans clash with visiting FC Montreal fans after at the Canadian Championship quarter-finals match which TFC lost 2-1. Tempers flared in the stands as the match ended. One TFC fan, furious with the loss, was seen screaming at TFC players and threw a megaphone at the home squad player Mark Anthony Kaye from the south end supporters area.

Being a Canadian who was born in England, this is plain ol ridiculous because both of these teams are super crappy, compared to even the worst EPL teams! lmfao.
I see they can’t fill the stadium for soccer either. Sad really.
In Rio de Janeiro there are 4 major futebol clubs. Flamengo, Vasco, Fluminense and Botafogo. Each team has there own stadium to host visitors, but during major games they meet at Maracana stadium in the centre of Rio. When these games go on, buses from the suburbs travel into the stadium round abouts. Like pirate ships the fans of one team encounter the fans from another team as the two buses pass by each other. The fanatics team out of the windows at the other fanatics and all hell breaks lose, like an army of rival ants. Canadian football has a long way to go to make a truly noteworthy dent in the history of hooliganism and football.
