      Utd are gonna be heavily out-spent on the transfer market. City will keep adding Galactico talents whilst we hunt for free-agents and cheap 30+ year old players in decline. At this rate we'll never catch up to City. We've never finished above them since 2013 and I'm not sure we ever will.

      Can we stop signing 29 and 30 year olds that will probably break in a year or two Casemiro is enough I think we should be looking at younger players with a potential to becoming very good players so for me it's not a sexy signing

      With sports science as it is I'd say 29 is no age for a footballer these days. Harry Kane is 30 by the start of next season – I guess we better not sign him as he's over the hill so!

      Comparing Kovacic to Casemiro and verane is a poor argument. Yes they were older but had been one of the best in their position in the world at a time but has kovacic been that and does his cv warrant spending money on him
