  1. Yes, I was subbed to may of the early fitness youtubers and life happened. The only thing that I changed is that I moved from trying to get jacked to running faster and farther. So basically, I switched to running fitness.

  2. so glad your video popped up, i legit started working out when you first started your youtube in your parents basement … feels just like yesteray !! love seeing your vids again my bro!

  3. Damn I would love to see you take this channel and continue to share your thoughts on fitness and the industry. This was awesome bro

  4. I won’t say my age but I remember all the greats and watching many of them on YouTube become famous. Definitely happy Maxx shared this video. You spoke valuable, knowledgeable, kind and caring words about everyone and you need to remember to include yourself. Because you and your family were a part of the era also. Actually you still are. I like to say with age comes the knowledge of your life’s purpose. Remember that! I also will watch your videos from now on. Especially now that I know you are still on here even if it’s only from time to time. Anyway I hope you and your family are doing well. Sending OG hugs!!

  5. Damn this hit hard. I've still got an oldschool black NWB V-neck tee lying around somewhere from around 08-2010

    Thanks for the nostalgia

  6. Damn this brought me back to the golden area of youtube. I havent watched a "vlog" or anything remotely close in years but i used to wake up and eat my protein oats every single morning watching some youtuber like you nick or chris jones or max chewning or a even rich piana 😅 man i miss those days, simpler times.

  7. Will never forget my time on Youtube collabing and just having fun growing muscles and having the viewers keepin me honest. Very fun in the hayday.

  8. This is so nostalgic! I remember all of this!! I’ve been really enjoying the content you’ve been putting out ever since your break!

    Keep making more 🔥🔥

  9. I am going to come back to this in 5 years, you think it’s nostalgic now? See you all in 5!

And Nick, I remember you uploading that video of you driving through the drive through like it was 5 minutes ago, it was then followed by a Twin muscle video. I watched it just after a big push session whilst sitting on my sofa, downing a optimum nutrition shake.

Nick, your a YouTube legend and we all owe so much to you for your commitment through the years.

In my opinion, YOU are the YouTube fitness OG.

Completely of topic, but who remembers the YouTube fitness feuds between Ian McCarthy and hodge twins 😂 Jimmy stutters

  10. Let's not forget Greg Plitt rip , I'm glad I grew up in that era , things were more informative than just tiktoks of people doing crazy shit like loads of preworkouts or caffeine for views to become famous or go viral , while risking death , mad how things have gotten

  11. I miss the golden era of YouTube fitness so much Roughly 10 years ago. It’s now mostly over commercialized crap these days

  12. Nick you are awesome brother
You always bring Legit info to the table.
Great vid ,so point on .👏
Thank you and always great to see you on

  13. its identical to most anything else in the world now, somewhere around 2017 and later social media, narcissism and materialism took over

  14. This took me back man. I was 13 in 2007. First computer that year and I discovered “YouTube fitness”. I literally went through the entire progression you just outlined. Older now and still killing it.
