The video is great as always MO. I just wanted to ask you about your thoughts on Memphis Depay recently comments he made to ELFVOETBAL about barca when he said
"he believes that the current training regime and working ethics within Atletico Madrid helped him develop as a player much better than what he experienced with Barcelona. He went on to further say that the more physically demanding training sessions at Atletico de Madrid suit his style of play better in comparison to the rather lesser demanding ones at Barcelona."
Now, you and I both doubt he was taking shots at the barca being an ex player and all, but he did make some valid points and I myself strongly believed for awhile now that Barca should be been trying to do more physical training to increase their intensity output on the field. Because recent histroy has thought us, when barcelona comes across teams like roma, liverpool, bayern, man u in european fixture and even sad to say low block teams. We don't have that forceful nature we had with our players back then that executed tight in between-the-line plays like we are know for anymore. It's not as consistant because of more physical teams in europe these days, so our ball-retention have made a dip in recent years.
While researching I've also saw why our style of play of old were so much more effective back then. Yes the 2015,2010,2006,2003 barca teams weren't filled with full of elite physically build players back then, but the reason we had that edge over teams back then were because of the mixture of talent, tight space passing and physicality(to some degree).Just wanted to know your thoughts on this? If you agree or think it's more to this or maybe it's just more complex that what I'm seeing in matches.

I think that if they get Olmo and Wirtz, Olmo would be an option for down the left wing, similar to how Pep used to play Iniesta on the left wing, from time to time, and Wirtz would be an alternative to Pedri, as a more creative player though the middle. Or better yet, Pedri would become a deeper playmaker, similar to the role Xavi played and Wirtz would play further up the pitch. If that were to happen, they wouldn't need a 2nd pivot.
