  1. CCV has been an unsettled player throughout his senior career until he came to Celtic. He has found his home. I don’t see him even wanting to leave.

  2. What a player CCV is for us and what a incredible season. Him and Carl starfelt what an amazing partnership but this gives yuki Kobayashi a chance

  3. Will be interesting to see more of Yuki ,and CS starting on the right, if the league wasnt wrapped up I'm guessing they would of made CCV wait until summer for his op ,the main thing is he comes back fit and as good as before. Absolute class player

  4. We need to sign a new cb and consolidate that area of the field so we don’t feel like we need to rush him back. 3-4 months is just the recovery from the operation but he’ll need to be slowly bled into training and then slowly build up match sharpness. It’ll be touch and go for 1st derby of next season and beginning of champs league.

  5. Listen hes a rolls Royce for us he'll be back stronger better with a better understanding of the game just as long as he dosent hurry it so he needs to take time BTW instead of wishing he'll be back earlier than we want

  6. I'm sure he has the mentality to get back as soon as possible. THE FRIDGE' is a remarkable specimen of an athlete.
Great content, as usual, Ryan. HH

  7. This is not good news due to the fact he is so important for our hopes of doing anything in the CL group stages. A strong central defence is kind of important when we are facing the likes of Madrid, PSG, AC Milan etc. Due to the timing it’s unlikely he’ll be match fit for the opening games of the Champions League, that is a huge blow no matter what way you look at it.

  8. Like you mate I'm really looking forward to seeing Kobayashi and what he can do. Especially with a game at Ibrox coming up. HH🍀

  9. I would be shocked, truly flabbergasted, if CCV were to pull up stakes and move – barring a ridiculously generous offer which neither he nor the club could ignore.

For the record, I'm defining "ridiculously generous" as ~ double his current transfer value and wages, or €22 million and £40k/wk.

After a few years of journeyman status, he's playing great football for a huge club in CL competition, before a supporter base which love him. For either the club or the player to abandon that in the pursuit of uncertainty would be rash, to say the least.

  10. I have supported Celtic for over 50 years and all I can remember is Scottish cup finals being played in sunshine. I guess there were some which were not but I honestly cant remember them.
