Behind Nikola Jokic’s incredible play, and Jamal Murray returning to the bubble Jamal Murray, Denver has the momentum against the Suns, who were expected to be a threat for the Finals after the Kevin Durant trade.
Nuggets’ head coach Michael Malone has everybody bought in, getting major contributions from rookie Christian Braun, veteran Aaron Gordon, and free agency acquisition Bruce Brown. If the Denver Nuggets can keep their foot on the gas and continue slowing down Durant and Devin Booker while Chris Paul is out, they’re gonna be the favorites to make it out of the West.
