Leeds under serious threat of relegation and suddenly the EFL want to scrap parachute payments… Coincidence? 🤔

Slightly pedantic, but Big Sam didn't say he was better than Klopp, Pep etc, he said they weren't better than him – But I suppose it's down to personal interpretation. Either way, I'm not sure I agree, but fair play to him… Love a bit of shithousing 😂

What the EFL needs to do in view to Parachute Payments is say that, this money is only used to stabilize the club as they go through the transition of adapting to a lower league existance. In the past you've had teams spend this money on transfers to get them back into the PL and for some it worked and some like Stoke for example, it completely backfired. Parachute payments are not a guarantee the club will return immediately to the PL, but they should be used to make sure the loss in revenues, doesn't send those clubs into debt they cannot cope with, in their first 3 seasons in the Lower leagues. Then you don't get Leeds, Bolton, Portsmouth, Sunderland and Wigan type catastrophes where they plumet down the leagues almost in some instances to oblivion

To me it seemed the Pep/Klopp comment was said with his tongue in his cheek, although he will have I huge amount of knowledge and was using things like video analysis and sports psychology before it was fashionable. He’s projecting confidence and leadership which has to be a good thing, obviously the problem is you can’t change a team’s philosophy over night and I’m not sure we have the players to be parking the bus and hitting it long. Pat will have his work cut out for him.

Ridiculous that Leeds sell Adan’s after half a season. If he goes it’s got be for £30m plus regardless of our status next year. Otherwise if he wants a move away stick him in the u21s to fester forever.

Getting rid of parachute payments would effectively make the Premier League a closed shop, as no promoted sides would risk their futures spending the money needed to stay up. We would would be left with 7 rich sides and 13 other cannon fodder sides (even worse than it is currently).
Gnonto staying in EFL is a good thing, the next will have to be getting rid of all the yanks at the club, let's move on completely from that disastrous American experiment
Gnonto and Gracia seemed to be butting heads when Gnonto was benched. This news coming out now makes me think that was part of the sacking. I'm disappointed we barely got any Gnonto and Sini on the same pitch. I think they could be electric together on the middle and left side.
