ESPN FC’s Gab Marcotti and Julien Laurens dive into Bayern Munich’s performance in their 2-0 second-leg win vs. PSG in the Champions League last 16. The guys discuss Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s form for the club and ask if there is space for Joao Cancelo at Bayern after he was left on the bench for the crunch tie.

I think Mane need to start from the bench, these guys praising this guy too much. He almost does nothing for Bayern and is always offside. Id start Cohupo everyday over him.
Cancelo did not play because Bayern needed to shut down Mbappe and Cancelo is not as good of a defender but he is a serious weapon going forward. Came in and made an assist instantly.
I would like to see Gab and Juls score that tap in against PSG 😂😂
Musiala is amazing, love watching the dude play. Best player on the pitch!
Needs to fix his attitude
Cancelo is so overrated I see more mistakes from the guy than anything positive
this two – clown
Never expected Jules wearing a Club National de Football jersey 😛
I see why Gab does podcasts and Nagelsmann does the coaching… You don't promise players playing time like trying to negotiate with toddlers by promising cookies. Coaches use what they need to get the result even if it means cancelo will get benched 10 games in a row…
I'd argue Cancelo is even more suited for a back 3 as a wingback
Beautiful Nacional of Montevideo shirt you are wearing Juls! Certainly a man of fine taste!
Choupo is better than lewandowski
The reason Cancelo is benched is that davis is playing amazing, when davis goes up top the right back has to tuck in and defend, cancelo is not competing with stanisic, he is competing with Davis. When cancelo plays, coman will go to left side and davis has to go on the bench, and with the form davis has, there is no way to bench him
Choupo is a great striker and deserves way more respect, last night he wasn't at his best and even then had a great header that would have counted if not for Muller, the way bayern plays now they need a tall and physical striker up top, if Choupo is fit he will start every important match. Buying a better striker than him is gonna cost a lot of money
Bayern's bench strength is world class🥶 They could beat most of the teams with their B team. It's crazy
Bring him to Arsenal we will add him to the collection with Zinny and Jesus !
Pep n City 🌃 Always Right❕🙄 Just say it 4 Once❕🤣
Choupo is bundesligas most efficient goal scorer. Cancelo is amazing depth. Moral of story? Bayern are stacked.
Come on ESPN you can do better. I have for once listen to the BT Sports coverage on wednesday, its way more informative and less polarizing. I was suprised how Joe Cole was understanding bayern as a club and how it works.
Its funny how espn is only talking about mbappe and neymar and messi (no doubt they great) but forget about the rest, about the players from psg besides them, about bayern beeing consistend in the cl for a decade, and even calling that bayern win easy now. Bayern can improve yes, but they had a world class defense, that was the reason why psg havent scored.
If you always follow the canselos, the mbappes, the players who are in the media, you seem to forget that success doesnt work like that. Bayern knows that and looks for the player who helps the team. It can be a Lewandowski at front but it might be also a Mandzukic or in the back a Stanisic instead of a world known Canselo, just because he comes from man city. That by the way never won the champions league (again they are world class but people should get some respect to other teams) Real madrid was not even to be considered as champion contester till Liverpool game, besides beeing the most successfull team in europe for an eternity know.
I think espn is for the most part not analyzing the game, they talk about what fanboys want to listen to.
What game did this french guy watch. I am watching Bayern since almost 50 years now and there were few games by them on such a great tactical level. The last time I saw them this strong was back in 2012. You guys should better be experts on hockey or something…
Trust me we would have been there 😅
Gab tried to deftly make a point to Jules that Mbappe didn't do much at all and was waiting to be served like in a restaurant. Jules always faults Messi, Ramos and others, but never Mbappe. He is very biased. I would rather listen to Frank who accepts reality at times.
Juls wearing Nacional jersey 👏🏻 Uruguay Noma!!! 🇺🇾💙
He come on and created the winning goal
I'll say it anytime and anywhere and back it up, Alexander Mitrovic and Jordan Pickford would be game changers for Bayern, perfect replacements for Lewandowski & Neuer
U lost and he's our player stop mourning🥸🥱🥱
Sergio Ramos who is 55……….lololol the art of shadow boxing at its finest.
Grass is not always greener on the other side
American talking about football hahahahahah
