    Gareth Southgate has named his 26-man England squad for the 2022 Qatar World Cup. James Maddison, Callum Wilson, Benjamin White & Conor Gallagher have all been included but there is no place for Jadon Sancho, Ivan Toney, Fikayo Tomori or Tammy Abraham.

    Full squad:

    Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford (Everton), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), Nick Pope (Newcastle)

    Defenders: Kieran Trippier (Newcastle), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Kyle Walker (Manchester City), Benjamin White (Arsenal), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), John Stones (Manchester City), Eric Dier (Tottenham), Conor Coady (Everton, on loan from Wolves), Luke Shaw (Manchester United)

      Am an Arsenal fan but south gate leaving out James ward prowse and picking gallagher over him is disgusting. This English squad ain't gonna reach the semi's only because Karma will strike.
      No Tomori, No JWP, no Toney?
      I hope England appoint a new manager with better understanding of football.

      No Tomori and no Toney. An out of form Trent, recently back from an injury and not played for 2months walker and an injury prone Wilson. Seriously WTAF. Southgate is so cut off reality. Whatever happens this world cup. (I don't think we'll make it beyond the last 16) I want him gone.

      Tomori and Tammy Abraham's exclusion from England's World Cup squad should be a lesson to other African footballers with dual nationalities.
      No matter how well you perform at club level, priorities of these European coaches will always be tilted towards real homegrown players, period.

      Good chance we won’t make it through the group. With Maguire ready to give away a pen and easy to run through the central defence is wide open. Toothless up front with Sterling unable to hit a barn door from three metres and in terrible form for his club. Foden and Grealish rarely score. The opposition only have to mark Kane and we won’t score.
      The best scorer and goalscorer in the PREM apart from Kane, Ivan Toney, left at home as he does t play for a fancy club. The prejudice and negative play of Southgate will ensure an early exit.
