    One of Hong Kong’s top action stars, Donnie Yen Ji-Dan is a versatile actor, martial artist, producer, director, and choreographer. He is widely credited for bringing Mixed Martial Arts into mainstream Asian cinema by choreographing MMA in most of his films since 2000.

    Donnie Yen is well-versed in an array of martial arts and has displayed his super skills in Tai Chi, Kickboxing, Karate, Muay Thai, Hung Ga, Judo, Wing Chun, Taekwondo, and Wushu. He’s also known for playing a vital role in the popularization of Wing Chun in China. After Yen portrayed the Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man in the Ip Man film series, which was a massive success, it led to an increase in the number of people taking interest in Wing Chun with hundreds of schools being opened in China and other parts of Asia.

      Hero was such a fantastic film.
      Ip Man, Ip Man 2, Ip Man 4 were good. i didn't particularly like the one with mike tyson or the last one before they created the film called Master or something?
      he also did a pretty cool fantasy film called Ice Man.
      I wish he would star as the Monkey King (even though Jet Li has done it as well as many others have) but i truly believe Donnie Yen would make an AMAZING Monkey King! Son Wukong!
