  1. dude dont know what he's talking about… the Lovie Smith Bears teams were Superbowl contenders every year. most of the time the played in the NFC championship, along with a Superbowl appearance, and owned that division.. i hate when people just talk from the side of their neck. Packers and Bears have always been relevant. Bears are building back to that status

  2. As a Bear i know what i want to happen to Packerts …but as a Bear ..i know they will find a way to F…my bears up anyway because they are the freaking Gladstone Gander when playing my Bears

  3. "Will Packers regret trading Aaron Rodgers?" Good grief – no chance of that or of any regrets by the Packers on this trade. Rodgers was done with the Packers and made that fact abundantly clear. For the Packers, once Rodgers expressed his "intent" to play for the Jets, he was a stranded asset – GB had a lot of money tied up in player who would never play another down for them. What's amazing is that the Jets gave up so darn much for a player who was a heavy cap burden doing nothing for the Packers.
Packers are doing back flips for joy over this trade. They got real assets for a player who wasn't going to play for them again, ever. The question is: why did the Jets buckle? They could have out-waited GB because GB had no real options. I do think the Jets would have paid much less for Rodgers if they had been patient and prepared accept the embarrassment of walking away from a bad deal and just telling their expectant fans 'we tried our best to get him, but GB was being unreasonable.' Instead, Jets rewarded the Packers for their 'unreasonableness' and our now putting a brave face on the fact they were just fleeced.
Basically, Packer GM Brian Gutekunst took the Jets to the cleaners, and then let the Jets pay for his lunch while he was at it. Gunekunst gets the kewpie doll while the Jets hear the carnival barker's tiresome refrain – 'better luck next time.'

  4. It was the right move. Aaron is 40 this year has 1 ring. He’s not getting younger folks play the young kid that’s just life in NFL and don’t forget all the picks also the packers got

  5. They were mediocre with him last year so id rather b mediocre and paying the QB pennies on the dollar then mediocre with a 60 million dollar QB

  6. I don't think y'all know what regret means lol. Yes, they made the business decision but that doesn't mean they can't regret that decision. You already stated they made a bad business decision so yeah they might regret it but that is something they just have to deal with

  7. I would imagine there’s a good bit of relaxation in GB. Aaron brought a lot of drama and whether or not you regret it later on, it’s still a chance to exhale.

  8. I won’t say regret BUT there are nuances as a Packers fan that I feel. Love draft vs Rodgers draft are two totally drastic and different scenarios. We traded up for Love where Rodgers was “supposed” to be the 1st QB taken. Also the rosters compared to what Rodgers had available to what Love is going to be are again two totally different situations.

  9. Father Time is undefeated my friends. You either lose him now and get picks, or you lose him next year and get nothing. It’s not a Super Bowl roster until 2024 or 2025 at the earliest so it’s a clear choice. Also, Rodgers was just Ok in 2019. I highly doubt he wins those MVPs if they don’t draft Love, the man is just wired that way.

  10. No , the Packers need to move on from the B.S. by Rodgers . The mind games and waiting for a answer every year is finally over .Now the organization can concentrate on football , and not on the diva football player .

  11. Rodgers is mid and a cancer in the locker room. You might miss your abusive toxic ex who just sat around and took your money when you did all the work right after the break up, but give it a few months and you feel better.

  12. Nothing would be sweeter than winning a super bowl the season after trading away the "hall of fame" QB who his entire career was more obsessed with his touchdown to interception ration so he can win an mvp instead of winning in the playoffs. FANTASTIC RIDDANCE

  13. The past three years resulted in diminishing returns. They went from playoff exits vs Tampa and SF, followed by needing one win at home to reach the playoffs. Obviously, it wasn't all on Rodgers, but it became clear there would be no more playoff runs while 12 was still under center. It happens. He had a great run and became a hof'er. I think he will play great in NY because of new scenery, new motivation, etc. But there's nothing to regret for Packer fans. We're experienced in hof qbs who tend to let their ego dictate things. Love deserves his opportunity and that window would shut if he rode the bench a 4th season. GB will need to find their identity and it might take a whole season, but they will do it. Those of us who suffered through the 70s and 80s followed by 3 decades worth of greatness understand how this works.
