      10:01 I was hoping that Mo Kudus had a potential future at Arsenal. He was said to be a target of ours but I’ve not heard anything. He was great for Ghana at the World Cup and I think he would fit in well. I really hope that Edu has other options prepared as we are on the precipice of deadline day.

      Tom I don't think going in hard for a player is offering a significantly lower price then that of which has been asked of from the selling club.
      I really don't understand the logic in not paying the price if u want the player, especially in our circumstances. It's not as if we've been in this position for the last 18yrs.
      I can understand 80-90m is ridiculous for Ceicedo, although it would pay its self off if Partey, Xhaka get injured or we win it.
      Complete & utter failure from the club/Kronkes if we don't sign a midfielder.
      All us fans can do is pray that they break the bank & we break PL Title drought.
      Ahhh what a relief it would be 😯

      I agree Tom, Brighton ain't selling. Move on to another target today otherwise we risk Lokonga screwing up our season. I would question one thing you said that £70m isn't worth Brighton Potentially missing out on qualifying for either CL, EL or ECL by selling Caicedo. I'ld be surprised that even CL would mean that much to Brighton

      Sander Berge could be a good signing, gives us a a different type of option in CM, he is massive yet good technically. Don’t think he is quick though which could be a problem for us. (Left footed I believe which Arteta loves)

      What is the situation with Zubimendi? Does he want to stay in Spain? Is he at the level to compete with Partey? I don't know much about him to be honest

      With cacaeido, i wonder if his agents advised him to do that. I dont think his to blame and its nice to see brighton saying he made a 'mistake'. We really need to get a deal done soon, but wish we had done it sooner. I hope its not going to be a panic buy.

      its a habit now even thought i am in florida. we need to do business but brighton is not our feeder club they have their own ambitions, we cant make the same mistake as last year , this could be a special year for us

      Enzo Fernandes seems available (I agree we would need to overpay, but at least he is available)… I think its obvious we need to strengthen our midfield considerably… The idea that this should be a bargain buy is not going to work…

      Lets face it us fans tend to judge potential transfer targets by what we see on YouTube.Well Talented Ibrahima Bamba does not look a gamble at all.

      Just playing devil's advocate….How about offering Brighton a huge sum they can't say no to and not bothering about Rice in the summer and spending elsewhere. Or offering West Ham a huge amount for Rice now and spending elsewhere in the summer. Whatever happens we are in with a strong chance of the title now and that extra player could clinch it. This time next season we might not be near a title shot.

      We should move on from Caicedo and wish Brighton help us take some points off our rivals. But we need someone other than Sambi at 6, but still allow us to go for Rice or other long term targets this summer. I think we may go for someone in Bundesliga or Serie A which costs 10-15m. Someone like Endo of Stuttgart would be a possible choice.

      So a third, £75 bid, has been made for Caicedo (the U.S. Sun). Our alternatives are narrowing. Zubimendi sounds to be a no. Bamba sounds to be a no too.

      ITK news just in:
      On hearing that The Arsenal are thinking of putting an offer through for Jorginho, they have put in a huge bid to sneak this transfer from under Edu.
      Celebrations in the Chelsea offices were cut short when checking their e-mails some 20 minutes later that they had just received an offer 20 minutes ago for Jorginho.
