If he’d actually won a few Trophies people might give him some more recognition… the fact of it is, he’s only been Premier League Top scorer once in the last 5 seasons and thats what he prides himself on. Hard to disagree that Salah has been better than Kane over the past 5 seasons (and hes a winger). Won multiple trophies, top scorer in 3 out of 5 seasons in the PL.. a bit of perspective for all of these Kane fans.

I'm not a spurs fan but Kane is a world class legend. Imagine how many goals he would be getting if he was at Man City. The guy will be remembered as the most loyal footballer in history if he stays at Tottenham. He sacrificed personal achievements for his club.

True. If he played for Liverpool or Man Utd the English media would cream all over the gaff. If he played for Arsenal everyone would still say "oh he is too good for that club" … Take the clubs out of it and he is world class and has been for the last three or four years..

Some terrible players have won trophies, and some world class players will never hold the accolades Kane has.. You can't have your cake and eat it every time.

Rues staying at Dortmund throughout his career is one example. A player who deserves a league title, could have gone to any elite club and earned one.

Not sure why the press even asked him this question, he has no say in it, he is the interim manager, its up to Kane and the clubs board that will decide whether he leaves or not.
