I actually didn’t consider this a match, it was a revenge, conclusion of a fight between two MMA players…

*Regardless, snooker won’t be the same without Ronnie and the rest of the class of ’92. It’s amazing that these people continue to stay competitive at their age, going deep in major ranking tourneys, and keeping their top 16 card. Absolute top blokes. Ronnie raises a fair point about there being no talented younger players – I mean, you can’t really lump Trump with the new gen anymore, dude’s almost in his mid thirties. And what’s the average age of a top 16 player? I’m genuinely horrified what will happen to the sport once the likes of O’Sullivan, Higgins, Williams, etc. are gone. We’ll just have K. Wilson v Trump finals 90% of the time, not that it’s a bad thing in itself, but snooker desperately needs young blood. *

Hopefully you will love it.

  1. Kudos to both for the respect they show at the end.

Vafaei was trying to throw Ronnie off with all the talk, but showed great class to accept his loss in this way with respect.
Likewise, Ronnie held no hard feelings and didn't gloat. Ronnie used to talk like that earlier in his career against Hendry, but he handled it well from the opposite side here. Ronnie's still the GOAT.
