think gonzo has a point, we can easily beat valencia to gomez, my take away is that we don't really want him, just some actual strategy to our transfer business, refreshing imho
Valencia's striker Santi mina is linked with a move to celta vigo so that would explain the Gomez links but to be honest I don't think Gomez shows much interest in moving to westham I'd prefer Arnie and an out and out target man as a back up

Nail on the head Gonzo. I thought I was the only one that's 50 / 50 on Gomez. Think we need a bit more energy. Couldn't see the guy rolling his sleaves up when the going gets tough. Martin is just strange for me…. .West Ham link or not. Happy…. ish with players going out. If we could get Sebastian Haller for 30 million. It looks too good. I don't want Maxi Gomez for 45 million.
In theory Leicester, Everton and Wolves shouldn't be able to race ahead of us. FFP the way Kieran explained it means clubs have to generate the finances to be able to buy next level players. We are earning similar amounts in revenue to the clubs around us. The worry is, they'll just do a Man City and pay well over the odds themselves for sponsorship.
FFP seems like it exists more to maintain the status quo rather than to protect clubs. The only clubs it's protecting are the big boys by not allowing less fashionable clubs to move up.
