Kento Momota and Son Wan Ho play a very entertaining match at the Badminton Asia Championships 2016 in Hyderabad, India! 🤩🏸 Notice how consistent and precise all of their shots are; that’s something that only can come with tens of thousands of hours of consistency and technique training. To a large extent, apart from speed, fitness, skill, etc., one of the most significant factors that highlight the difference between a good and a great player is CONSISTENCY. This match very clearly shows that consistency is extremely important, because players need to be able to keep rallies going throughout the match, to wait for the right opportunities to get on the attack. Of course, consistency also demands great fitness which all top players have. Both Momota and Son Wan Ho are known for the fairly neutral style of play, which includes longer rallies and of course, great consistency and fitness. It’s a textbook, classic badminton match that you should definitely watch until the end, and incorporate into your own game too! 😜💪

This is the old momota. 😂😮
nobody trying to netkill.. ?
Old momota ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Pace of 2018-19 Momota is what took him to the top. Both Gillian and Morten talked about this in his matches. And the absence of pace and his attack is what seems to be the problem.
I don't intend to sound like an armchair expert- I actually said what other players and commentators made a note of.
Miss Son Wan Ho🥲
He hasn't been the same since the traumatic accident 2 years ago.
