Marcus Thuram has enjoyed a meteoric rise since joining Borussia Mönchengladbach from relegated French side Guingamp in 2019. The 23-year-old had a remarkable debut Bundesliga campaign with the Foals, providing 10 goals and eight assists as Gladbach secured UEFA Champions League qualification. It was quite the first impression as the striker began to step out the shadow of his legendary father Lilian Thuram who won the World Cup in 1998 with France.
