      Chelsea are spending a lot to patch up what were some terrible blunders over the last 12-18 months – Selling Tomori, Tammy, buying Lukaku, letting Rudiger and Christensen's contracts run out, and losing out on Kounde who they should have signed last summer or in Jan. Werner was a flop and they had to admit defeat on him, Havertz hasn't found form, Ziyech wants out, and they just spent £63m on a replacement for Marcos Alonso. They could have had the same £280m budget or more without so many mistakes to rectify but kudos to the new owners for not being shy on spending, if they land FDJ, Aubameyang, and Fofana then it'll be a great window for them, if they don't make anymore signings they'll have taken a step backwards.

      I am not sure what to make from the Arsenal fans attempts, saying that “Chelsea fighting for top 4 all the time”. You guys need to just stop. We are not the same, you guys the ones fighting for top 4, we are there if we want to be already. Geez.

      Such boring chat. Did they need Cucurella…not really linked to City who likely needed that replacement for Zinchenko and someone who can naturally play LB. Sterling no issue, still yet to buy a striker, Koulibaly could be a good signing but is no spring chicken, potentially signing De Jong only because It's have been linked all summer, potentially signing Auba…I'm not sure tbh

      People have gone from cheering Chelsea's demise to loathing them for being so strong, this is looking ominous guys.
      If you're going to put up a list of money spent there should be a list alongside of incomings and wages off books, then it shows the true story and Chelsea become mid table.

      I was the first to criticise Chelsea, but they’re close to having the best transfer window in the league tbf…still need a goalscorer to be contenders though

      Chelsea needs just to sign two more great philosophers to win the Premier League and UCL – Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Frenkie de Jong.

      Of course the new owners are going to spend big, he needs to win the fans over and get them on side, if ge came in and did nothing the fans would be calling for his head within months

      All the haters and rivals fans laughed at us and thought Chelsea were finished ✅ then they didn’t realise the new owner might be as good as Roman so now enjoy it rivals fans and British media haters

      Remember when rival fans said Chelsea were finished with spending money because they got an American owner now? 🤣

      I don't think any of the seasons are an improvement over what they had last season. Koulibaly isn't any better than Rudiger, Cucurella is 2nd choice left back behind Chillwell and Sterling is just Sterling. He's literally the English Giroud, he'll play well for 4-5 games then disappear for 10.

      I honestly don't see them closing the gap but they might have done enough to create some space from Arsenal and Spurs. However I still think Tuchel wont be in charge come the end of the world cup. Run of bad games and if he doesn't sign a striker they will struggle. The game against Everton on the weekend was far from impressive.
