Very true, Kovacic is our POTY this year. I was buying another shirt from the Chels Megastore the other day and was thinking about who would be a more stable player for the shirt print. At that point Mateo was the first player who came to my mind, no doubt.

Honestly, Kovacic was not transformed by Frank Lampard. He used to play like this. His game at Inter Milan was exceptional that people thought he'd win the balon d'or within 2 years. But when he came to Chelsea, he was confined to play that kind of a role in the midfield by Sarri. He was not given the freedom to move forward with the ball. Lampard gave him the freedom to, that's the only difference.
