Only a year after his debut season at Rennes, the young Ousmane made his move over to Germany and Dortmund. Almost immediately he was undisputed in the starting lineup, and ended the season with 10 goals and an astonishing 21 assists in all competitions. After that it wasn’t a surprise when Barcelona looked primarily at the teenage sensation Ousmane Dembélé when seeking to replace Neymar.

he was way more talented than mbappe for sure but mbappes mindset was way better than dembeles and thats the difference. Of course injuries let dembele down massively but injuries are part of your own mindset, with a better mindset you can control your body better
