In today’s Chelsea Video,

I take a deep dive on Chelsea Football Club’s player of the season so far in Mateo Kovacic. Kovacic has been Frank Lampard’s best performer in the Premier League and indeed in the Champions League. Kovacic is only 25 years old and the talent and ability he has ben demonstrating on the football pitch, makes the £40m transfer fee from Real Madrid start too look like a bit of a bargain!

The future is bright for CFC.

  1. If there is someone we can count on in the hard moments, it is defiently Kovacic. He has been a key player for our team this season. He always except maybe like one game this season performance so good. His passing, dribbling, and movements is just excellent. Kova is my favorite player this season for Chelsea 💙

  2. Kovačic has been an all-round star this season. He's done well in defense, midfield AND attack. Apart from goalscoring, he's pretty much a complete midfielder. He plays excellently as a box to box, good as a playmaker and the most creative output rn. 40 mil is a steal for him. The only reason he's underrated is because our attack doesnt convert the chances created by him, our midfield is too dependent at times on him and our defence is on and off rn.

  3. While you're talking up Kovacic, niinii of bluelions tv is putting him down so he can show Kante up. smh, idk why he can't see what kovacic brings to the squad

  4. I want to see Zouma Christensen Tomori in the reverse fixture
Rudiger hasn't been that good and hasn't influenced us as much as we expected him to

  5. Pulisic, and Kova, cho, Tomori. James. RLC Everyone else to me seem lack luster. Have to see more of Billie G. Mount has to be more technical. Work rate ain’t enough. Need quality in finishing. And wow Davies must be fast cause mount sure isn’t!!! Tammy seems like a penalty box striker and I don’t see him being a Icardi or Lewendowski.

  6. Only positive last night was Kovacic the guy was levels above rest of our team last night which isnt suprising the guy has champions league experience and has 3 champions league titles to hes name and played with the best players in football history at real madrid

  7. 100% agreed with this..he is a warrior..he always gives his everything ..so happy he plays for Chelsea..If this guy was playing for Liverpool or Manchester City he would be considered as the best midfielder in the world..very very underrated

  8. Hey Yan why don’t you do a video on why anyone would want to join Chelsea right now, I’m a huge fan but I don’t see anything appealing about this club at the moment to be honest, all b.s aside the most appealing thing about the club is Reece James

  9. Yan, you need to have a serious talk with Nini at blue lions tv. This guy Nini must not watch the games. Its actually hilarious. Anyway, your the man Yans. Keep it up

  10. He was the only one feeling comfortable around 3-4 Bayern players and Bayern team in general, the rest of our lot played like they ALL had the first game of Champions league in their lives. If RLC comes back and gets back to his best form, we should build a team around Kova, RLC, Ziyech, Tomori and Pulisic.. We need to get a striker, who know how to get on the end of the crosses, not just throw his hands in the air and be knocked off the ball like a Bambi on ice. In fact, if the reason for Tammy's stalling his contract signing is the fact that we might get a decent striker and he doesn't want to compete – he can fuck right off!

  11. like Kovacic, maybe Chelsea need to focus on buying fringe or good-but-unused player at big club where they used to win important cups.. kovacic is the serial UCL winner, kante's epl, giroud's world cup, younger pedro won euro la liga world cup.. these kind of players bring experience & world class mentality to the club.. younger players will look up to & learn from them too

  12. Chelsea need to find that player that can finish our midfield 3 with kova and jorgi ie Tiago type midfielder. Especially when we playing the big boy's like bayern, Liverpool etc. Unfortunately Kante isn't that player. He isn't a press resistant baller. If your midfield doesn't dominate in those games you will lose. When we playing the average epl game then Rlc can fill the void. Mount needs a few epl loans and Barkley needs selling. Attack wise ziyech, Hudson, puli and Sancho should be our wingers. We need werner or dembele desperately. Abraham is back up for the next 3 seasons

  13. I agree, I've always thought we should put him in more of an advance role to see how he does. I like him in the deep role but we really need someone who can turn with the ball and ghost people in the final 3rd.

  14. When Kovacic was a kid in Croatia he was projected to be a star. At Dinamo Zagreb, he was fantastic. At Inter Milan, he was one of the most praised players in Serie A. Real Madrid…bench player. Croatian national team…minimal playing time. He's had a difficult time in his career but he's not in his prime yet. It will take him another year or so to come into his own.
