Forget about his age for a second, this is an excellent signing. If we get a couple of seasons out of him, £12m for a top class right back, is an absolute steal. Potential for him becoming captain, probably not this season (well that depends if lascelles stays or goes this month) but next season I can see the armband being on his arm.

Fantastic signing! After seeing Howe’s training sessions, seeing how well we played in some very tough fixtures, he’s played at the highest level, best right back in la liga and a very experienced player.. hopefully 2/3 more signings through the door
