He is the powerful motor in Frankfurt’s goal-scoring machine – Eintracht’s Filip Kostić. With 10 assists already this season, he is the Bundesliga’s second-best provider behind assist king Thomas Müller. The Serbian schemer is the fulcrum of his team’s attacks and operates as supplier-in-chief for 21-goal man André Silva and his fellow strikers. But he’s also no mean finisher himself, as he showed in the meeting with Union Berlin at the weekend. The 28-year-old has scored all four of his goals this term in the second half of the season and has played a key role in propelling his club to fourth place in the table, which would earn them a Champions League berth.
