If you’re a former player, it’s easy to appreciate bruno. It is those who havent played the game at any decent level that dont know what theyre talking about. Bruno is one of the best ever at moving opposition defensive midfielder around. The space he takes up is all brain. It’s always that space where he either baits cb to come out or midfielder to drop in. The goal is always to disorganize. He does lack natural effortless flair but the defensive work he puts in make up for it

It’s all in the manner. Bruno just comes across as a angsty teenager and feigns injury at times.
As a United fan, I can understand why he gets criticized for his histrionics. I wouldn't like him if he wasn't a United player.
Players should get praised and criticized in equal measure in amounts consistent with their performance. Bruno can be wasteful sometimes, can be caught out of position out of possession and it's fair to criticize that and I can see why people don't like his diving, complaining and body language.
What I don't like is that for all the negativity he receives from the media, he doesn't get recognized for his brilliance. The sheer volume of goal contributions, chances created and big chances created is phenomenal. And he never gets injured, plays every game, works as hard as anyone on the pitch, never cheats the fans with effort and never shies away from responsibility.
Why do we never hear anyone in the media talk about those things?
The most hated player in the Premier League is always a United player. Ronaldo and Pogba left, and Maguire hasn’t been playing, so Bruno has had to take up the mantle by himself. Although Weghorst and Antony have been getting a bit as well.
