If the law was up to me, I would say that your spouse should be given half of what you have AFTER marriage only. So money earned before marriage doesn’t count. Also protects said old people

Allow me to shed some light from a lawyers pov… The hakimi situation is a civil matter so if he cheated it doesnt attract criminal charges unless there's statute that says otherwise. The property under hakimi's mom is still held in trust for hakimi. his wife through her lawyers have to articulate this in court to bypass that fact in order to attach the decree to the property held in trust for hakimi. She would only be entitled to half of the property owned by hakimi or held in trust acquired after they got married. In a marriage one can either contribute financially or domestically which the courts consider as equal contribution.

Also if theyre both Islam, theyd be subject to Islamic laws on divorce, matrimonial property, alimony, custody and maintenance of the children

I practise law in a different common law jurisdiction from hakimi or the UK so this is just an educated guess
