Kaoru Mitoma is a professional footballer from Japan who currently plays as a forward for Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League.

Mitoma was born on July 16, 1997, in Japan. He started his professional career at Japanese club Kawasaki Frontale, where he helped the team win the J-League title in 2020. He then moved to Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2021, and was loaned out to Belgian club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise for the 2021-22 season.

Mitoma is known for his pace, dribbling skills, and ability to score goals. He primarily plays as a left winger, but can also play as a central striker or a right winger. He has also represented Japan at various youth levels, and made his senior debut for the national team in 2021.

Mitoma is considered one of the top young talents in Japanese football, and is expected to have a bright future in the sport.
