Aubameyang is going to be an excellent signing. He's played with TT before. He is the exact type of player we need. He was inexpensive.
Now that the transfer window is over, what did u have for ur fins?
Frankly, what we need this season is to get top four again, and it won’t be easy. Not getting top four would be a disaster. But with this massive window, top four is a reasonable hope.
Chelsea needed every senior signing they made this window
Small disagreement on Billy … I'd love for him to stay and he's a hardworking player but not much of difference maker. People concerned about the price, but it's not like half a dozen clubs were banging the door down. Good work fella
He now shoud change to a 4 3 3 with Zakaria, Kova and Havertz playing where Odegaard plays at Arsenal, could you imagine if Arteta put Odegaard as a false 9? He would be terrible. Auba and Broja have the potencial to be huge, then put Sterling and Mount in the wings. The problem is James, when he´s injured Chelsea has to change to a back 5, cause Azpi as a right back doesn´t work, we are better served in a back 5 with Loftus Cheek.

Sometimes I feel Tuchel has no idea of what he wants. Cos everyone knows we needed a defensive midfielder but he was busy signing defenders.
I do agree with you that we need a sustained long term vision at Chelsea. On Chelsea's transfer window signings it was generally very good. However, my biggest regret about it is that I keep wondering why weren't we seriously pursuing Ajax's Edison Alvarez and/or PSV's Ibrahim Sangre like two weeks ago. Why did we have to wait so late when Kante, Kovachic and RLC are all injury prone.
How have we bought Carney for 20m and Casedei for 18m and then sell Billy for 9m, who has played way more senior football and is a seasoned international. Madness.
Aubameyang > Lukaka
In regards to the midfield, I honestly think that TT thought that Kante would be fit. He had the summer to recover, he didn’t go on pre season and looked really good in training when the team came back from the US. It’s naive, but that’s the only thing I can think of that makes any sort of sense as to why we didn’t prioritize another midfielder. I think he thought Kante and Jorgi would be good until Kova comes back and then it would be back to normal.
